Jonathan and Yobe bombing

Forty seven students died on Monday morning in a bombing incident that occurred in a secondary school in Potiskum, Yobe State, and our President and his party are determined to lock down Abuja on Tuesday so he can announce he needs another four years in office. The party is ready, sychophants have been paid, the media is ready but in a significant part of the nation, many are now refugees in their homeland in the midst of terror and bloodshed.
This is just pathetic; to some, they don’t care, after all the pogrom is happening in a region different from theirs; sons and daughters of those dying are from a different tribe or religion so it’s okay. I even heard someone I used to think I respected call it “payback” somewhere on Monday. That was a rude awakening to me.
I guess many think we are in a tribal war. How wrong they are! We are in a class war where our leaders sacrifice the poor to gain political advantage. All through the suffering of the Niger Delta, the Lulu Briggs, the Graham Douglases, the Clarks and their ilk never suffered. The same as with the North-East; the Atikus, the Shagaris, the Buharis and their children are not in the forefront.
Anyone who supports the wanton killing of innocent Nigerians in any part of the country deserves to die himself. You might think there is no day of reckoning but you would be shocked how close it is.
