Nigeria Needs Peace to Fully Realise its Potentials, Says Gowon

Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd) has said there is no basis for strife and crisis between the Christians and Muslims in the country, noting that Nigeria is sufficiently blessed and only needs peace to fully realize its potential.
Gowon stated this on Sunday while on a visit to the Region 8
Headquarters of the Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG) in Jos,
Plateau State, to sensitize the members on Nigeria Prays.
He charged the citizens not to write off the country but rather to pray
towards addressing the problems confronting it as a nation.
