The Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has won the African Finance Minister of the Year
award in recognition of her drive for Nigeria’s economic growth and increasing foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country.
The award, organised by the Africa Investor (Ai), a leading international investment and communications group, was presented to her before a large audience at the Ritz Carlton Hotel as part of events at the ongoing IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington DC, United States of America.
